| CITAZIONE HOLLYWOOD — A fire broke out on a sound stage at Raleigh Studios early today on the set where ABC’s “Private Practice” is filmed, but apparently no one was injured.
The blaze, reported in the 5300 block of Melrose Avenue about 1:25 a.m., was declared out at 1:37 a.m., but the Los Angeles Fire Department generally has no public spokesperson available overnight. A floor captain downtown refused comment.
The electrical fire broke out on Stage 1 of the studio, near Bronson Avenue, damaging the top of the office-type set where the ABC primetime soap opera “Private Practice” is filmed, according to a security guard on the lot.
The extent of the damage was unavailable early today. |
